Hautapu River Parks (Papakai Park)
A local favourite just minutes from Taihape.
Five swing bridges connect 12 kilometres of walking tracks alongside the Hautapu River, with giant papa cliffs, native forest and plenty of opportunities to stop and take it all in. Parts of the park are pram and wheelchair accessible, making it one of the district's most family-friendly outdoor experiences.

Tūtaenui Reservoir
Walk, run, bike or simply enjoy the view.
Located north of Marton, this easy reserve features walking tracks around two reservoirs, mountain bike trails, birdlife and plenty of space for the whole family. Dogs are welcome too.
