Bulls Museum

Bulls Museum is truly Memor-a-bull!

Bulls Museum is a well-resourced, volunteer-run museum which provides a great picture of local settler history from the first settlers of Bulls district through to present day. Displays give a glimpse of early settler life and pay homage to locals who have made their mark throughout history.

Browse through 1800s household items, horse racing, stables and farming equipment, a ‘general store’, Flock House history and memorabilia, a display paying tribute to local motorsport star Chris Amon, wartime displays including WW1 mounted rifles, an ANZAC memorial and a tribute to local nurses and much more. There are local archives which piece together local people and history. These are available for personal research, or you can request a research service for a $25 fee. Historical items, books, local souvenirs, mementos and a variety of odds and ends can also be purchased when available.

You can visit Bulls Museum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily at 85 High Street, with parking on the road or behind the museum with access on Criterion Street. Entry is free but donations are welcome. Amenities such as cafes, shops, petrol stations and public toilets are all within walking distance.
