Held annually around the end of October, the Hunterville Huntaway Festival is full of action. It is headlined by the Shepherds’ Shemozzle but also includes other races and competitions. Held in Hunterville, Rangitīkei since 1998, this event is an absolute classic for our district, paying tribute to our rural roots. There are generally around 4,000 visitors during the festival, showing just how much there is something for everyone with plenty of entertainment and food available.
