The Marton Show for Rangitīkei Shearing Sports is generally held on the first Saturday of February every year at Marton’s Memorial Hall. It represents the North Island Championships and has multiple heats from junior to senior, individual or team as well as open heats. Competitors come from far and wide, including some of the world’s best shearers! The day is a proud representation of how Rangitīkei works, with local volunteers and business sponsorships making it all happen.


Whether you want to jump in and give it a go, support your friends or whānau who are shearing or just come along to be entertained by the exhilarating competition, come and join in the fun at the North Island Shearing and Wool-handling Championships!
